European Elections May 23, 2019 in the Netherlands
Choosing the future of Europe
April 26, 2019 – EU citizens will vote from 23 to 26 May 2019, for the next European Parliament and choose the 705 members of Parliament that will represent them in the European Parliament until 2024.
You can thus have a say on the direction the European Parliament and other EU institutions will take for the next 5 years also in areas, such as innovation, economic growth, research and international trade affecting the industry you are working in. Your vote will also indirectly matter for the leadership of the European Commission too, as the newly elected Parliament is due to approve the European Council’s nominee for Commission President in July. The elections for the European Parliament will be held in the Netherlands at 23 May 2019.
